Speech and language therapist

Profile of the required candidate:

1. English language skills at an original level.
2. Licensed by the Dubai Health Authority as a Speech and Language therapist.
3. At least five years post-graduation experience working as a speech and language therapist with children in a regular school.
4. Understand appropriate assessment and therapeutic interventions for children with voice/speech difficulties.
5. Understand the principles of assessment, intervention and monitoring of the progress of children with additional educational needs including severe and complex learning disabilities.
6. Understand the principles of assessment and intervention for bilingual children.
7. Understanding of sensory integration and experience in supporting children with sensory processing difficulties.
8. Practice alternative communication systems: PECS and Makaton.
9. Understand record-keeping standards.
10. Know and understand protection and confidentiality.

Foundation Stage Teacher – August 2021

Profile of the required candidate:

1. English language skills at an original level.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Education or Bachelor’s degree with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with QTS or equivalent.
3. Early years teaching experience in British schools.
4. A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning and the ability to create a nurturing and nurturing classroom environment.

Primary Teacher – August 2021

Profile of the required candidate:

1. English language skills at an original level.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Education or Bachelor’s degree with Postgraduate Certificate in Education with QTS or equivalent.
3. Experience teaching KS1 and/or KS2 in British schools.
4. A proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning and the ability to create a nurturing and nurturing classroom environment.

Learning Support Assistant

Profile of the required candidate:

1. Excellent English language skills.
2. IELTS score at advanced level 6.5 to 8.0. This requirement must be completed before the official start date at Arbor if you are successful in the recruitment process.
3. Recognized and appropriate childcare qualification, for example, CACHE Level 1, Submit relevant qualification.
