Job Description and Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic HS French Teacher teacher to join our dedicated team beginning in August 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about theatre education and eager to help our students succeed academically.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and interactive French lessons to high school students while following the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
Develop and implement innovative and effective teaching strategies to instill a love of theatre and promote critical thinking.
Collaborate with your colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Maintaining continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
Differentiate instruction to meet students’ diverse learning needs.

Skills HS French Teacher candidates will need:

A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree combined with a relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent in French/MFL.
Proven experience teaching French at the high school level, ideally in an American/IB curriculum setting.
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and practical French education.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to form strong bonds with students, parents, and colleagues.
A strong desire to continuously improve their practice and provide excellent teaching and learning experiences for their students.
