The Role: Islamic Teacher
We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Islamic Teacher to join our team for the upcoming academic year. As part of the faculty, you will play a critical role in delivering engaging, meaningful, and age-appropriate Islamic Education to our students. Moreover, you will help instill a love for learning, respect for faith, and a strong moral compass aligned with Islamic values.
Key Responsibilities
First and foremost, the Islamic Teacher is responsible for creating and delivering comprehensive lesson plans that align with the UAE Ministry of Education guidelines. Additionally, you will:
Develop engaging instructional materials that meet the diverse needs of students.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional techniques to improve student learning.
Encourage student inquiry and promote discussions related to Islamic culture, values, and teachings.
Continuously assess student progress through assignments, activities, and formal assessments.
Integrate Islamic teachings with everyday classroom practices, promoting values such as honesty, empathy, and respect.
Collaborate with other faculty members to promote interdisciplinary learning where appropriate.
Participate actively in school events, activities, and religious observances.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ spiritual and academic development.
Who We Are Looking For

Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Studies, Sharia, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is an advantage.
A Teaching Qualification or License recognized in the UAE or your home country.
At least 2 years of teaching experience in Islamic Education, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.
Familiarity with the UAE Ministry of Education Islamic Curriculum is highly desirable.
Proficiency in both Arabic and English is strongly preferred.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
In addition to the above, experience with differentiated instruction, integration of technology in the classroom, and the ability to work within a diverse cultural setting will be considered assets.
