The Opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Physics Teacher who is committed to inspiring students and fostering a deep understanding of the subject. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and challenging Physics lessons in line with the school’s curriculum framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Physics lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
• Develop and implement engaging and differentiated teaching materials, resources, and assessment tasks.
• Foster a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Assess student progress effectively through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance and progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and attainment.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including curriculum leaders and other subject teachers, to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience for students.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and pastoral care.
• Stay up-to-date with current developments in Physics education and pedagogy.
• Adhere to the school’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Physics.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
