The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and inspirational Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our highly successful Mathematics Department, commencing in August 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to secondary school students, fostering their understanding and appreciation of the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive Mathematics lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of all students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing timely and constructive feedback to both students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive and challenging Mathematics curriculum aligned with the IB framework.
• Contribute to the creation of a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest pedagogical approaches and best practices in Mathematics education.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through involvement in extracurricular activities and pastoral care.

Requirements:

• A recognized teaching qualification or certification.
• At least two years of experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, preferably within an IB (MYP/DP), IGCSE, GCSE, A-level, or another outcomes-based education system.
• Experience with assessment for learning and personalized, inquiry-based teaching approaches will be considered an asset.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
